Westchester Medical Center is known for its ability to manage multiple trauma, burn, cardiac and stroke patients with one of the busiest helipads in the region along with its ability to manage and direct the care of multiple patients from local and regional disasters. Over 70,000 patients are seen annually in WMC’s Emergency Department where the adult and pediatric resources available are second to none within the Hudson Valley.
