Medical Family Receives Grants for Outreach

A record 23 donors were recognized at TMA’s recent Winter Conference in Austin for generously supporting and being part of TMA Foundation’s mission “to fund initiatives with the power to help physicians create a healthier future for all Texans.” Each donor was recognized at a TMA Major Donor level based on cumulative giving attained in 2016.

When asked why she supports TMAF, Charlotte Stelly-Seitz, Houston said, “TMAF has always extended my reach in areas that are of high importance to me.”


Pon Satitpunwaycha, MD, Houston, who graduated from and taught at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand said, “I am grateful for the opportunity this county has given me and I feel obliged to give back.”


Fifteen donors achieved the entry Pacesetter level of $10,000 and eight others upgraded their Major Donor status to new levels (four donors requested they not be listed online or in publications). All names have been added or moved up on the Major Donor walls on the 10th floor of the TMA building. This brings the total number of major donors to 202 as of Dec. 31, 2016.
