More and more judges require parenting classes for divorcing couples. This means a greater need for leaders—and trainers like you to teach them. At the Cooperative Parenting and Divorce Training of Trainers, you will . . . • explore each session of the program in depth • learn about the 4-hour seminar for divorced parents, Crossroads of Parenting & Divorce
• be introduced to the Active Parenting for Stepfamilies program, an excellent companion course for the next stage
• receive training and authorization to conduct your own Leader Training Workshops (LTWs)
• learn from an experienced trainer about what your LTW participants need to know
• fine-tune your presentation skills • network with fellow educators who understand the challenges you face
Prerequisite To participate in the TOT, you must become familiar with the program content prior to the TOT. It is best if you have led one or more parent groups, but we make exceptions if you agree to lead a parent group after you attend the TOT seminar to complete your certification.

Active Parenting president Dr. Michael Popkin will be joined in this track by presenter David Beamish, MS. David is a licensed marriage and family therapist and professional counselor. He has been leading parenting workshops since 1990 and has been an Active Parenting
Trainer since 1993. David divides his time between his counseling practices in North Carolina and Georgia and has been training leaders for Cooperative Parenting and Divorce since the program was introduced.

The cost of the TOT is $549 (save $100 if you register at least 60 days in advance). Price includes 3 days of training, all workshop materials, certification, snacks and the group lunch. Registering for the TOT entitles you to 20% off the purchase price of one program kit—see page 19.
