Active Parenting TOT Atlanta • July 16-18, 2015

This track will explore Active Parenting in general and two programs in particular: The new Active Parenting 4th Edition and Active Parenting of Teens. Learn the new program directly from the author!

particular:

At the Active Parenting Training of Trainers, you will . . .

• explore the programs in depth • fine-tune your presentation skills • learn how to adapt the course material for any audience

• network with fellow educators who understand the challenges you face

Prerequisite To participate in this track of the TOT, you must complete an Active Parenting Leader Training Workshop (LTW) prior to the TOT. For your convenience, an LTW will be held the day before the TOT at all locations, in addition to the dates listed on pages 4-5. You must also become familiar with the program content prior to the TOT. It is best if you have led one or more parent groups, but we make exceptions if you agree to lead a par- ent group after you attend the TOT seminar to complete your certification.

Your Presenters Michael Popkin, PhD, founded Active Parenting Publishers in 1983 and is the author of Active Parenting 4th Edition and Active Parenting of Teens. At the TOT, he will be assisted by  Janet Rivers-Thompson, LPC, CMFT. Janet retired as a School Psychologist in a large New Jersey public school system and is now in private practice. She has been leading Active Parenting classes since the late 1990s.

Fees

The cost of the TOT is $549 (save $100 if you register at least 60 days before the TOT begins). An optional LTW, held on the day prior to each TOT, is an additional $159. Registration entitles you to 20% off the purchase price of the program kit—see page 18.
