Several AFS periodicals served the metalcasting industry and supply chain. Modern Casting provided monthly editorial coverage of the metalcasting industry’s news, trends and best practices. Metal Casting Design & Purchasing Magazine provided casting supply chain information to casting

customers. Global Casting Magazine reached the global metalcasting community. The International Journal of Metalcasting (IJMC) was a vehicle for technology transfer of recent metalcasting research. IJMC entered into a publication agreement with Springer, a globally recognize publishing house. Partnering with this professional technical journal publication firm gives broader exposure to various university, public and private libraries, potentially expanding subscriptions while maintaining the current offering to corporate members. The new pre- college student-focused magazine Melting Point was launched in 2015-2016 and is publishes twice a year.
Combined, these publications delivered almost 2,000 pages of content to subscribers in FY 2016.
