SLM Solutions Exceeds Last Year’s Sales in the First Nine Months of 2015

LM Solutions Group AG (Lübeck, Germany), a leading provider of metal-based additive manufacturing technology (3D printing technology), in mid-November said it achieved signifi- cant sales growth during the first nine months of 2015.
During the equivalent period of the
previous year, three orders were placed for the SLM 500HL. The Lübeck-based company also received 13 orders for the SLM125HL and 42 orders for the SLM280HL during the first nine months of 2015 (previous year: six SLM 125HL and 27 SLM 280HL). New custom- ers include Toyota Central R&D Labs, which ordered a SLM 280HL with many additional options. Overall, SLM Solu- tions received 64 orders, almost 78% more than during the first nine months of 2014. Dr. Markus Rechlin, CEO of SLM Solutions, sees the company on a successful track during 2015, “We are drawing ever closer to our revenue tar- get of at least EUR 55 million for 2015. Adding the order bookings after the first nine months the year to the revenue generated during the reporting period, we have almost achieved this amount at EUR 54.3 million. We consequently expect to reach the upper end of our guidance range of EUR 55 to 60 million, or even exceed it, by the year-end.”
