Sarah Buino (MSW ’09) was honored as a 2017 Emerging Leader awardee by the National Asso- ciation of Social Workers, Illinois Chapter. She is one of three social workers honored in Illinois.

Marie E. Casciari (JD ’11) was promoted to partner at DeBofsky, Sherman & Casciari P.C. She has been an associate at the firm since 2013.
Susan Mayer (BA ’11) received her MLIS from University of Illinois in August 2014. She has worked at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library since July 2015 and last September was promoted to specialty info services librarian specializing in genealogy.

Michael Stark (MBA ’13) ac- cepted a position as executive producer with Songfinch, a one-of-a-kind platform that takes customer stories and pairs them with a professional musician to deliver an original radio-quality song in seven days or less.
Jonathan T. Luljak (JD ’14) joined Michael Best as an as- sociate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
Kenneth Nolan (JD ’15) has joined the Columbus office of the Ohio-based law firm of Weston Hurd, LLP. His practice focuses on matters involving commercial litigation, insurance defense, and workers’ compensation.
Zachary Angel (BA ’16) has joined the postulancy program of the Capuchin Franciscan friars. He will minister to Milwaukee’s Benedict Center, a nonprofit community justice agency work- ing with victims, offenders, and the community.
