Germany, announced plans to consolidate its Spanish operations with an $11 million investment in a single industrial complex in the Port of Bilbao, which will become the flagship facility for the ASK Chemicals Group. Tree sites—Cas- tro Urdiales, Idiazabal and Artzinie- ga—will be combined into a single 108,000-sq.-ft. facility in Spain’s largest and fourth busiest port.
Highland Foundry Ltd., Surrey,
British Columbia, Canada, received certification from the American Bureau of Shipping, Houston, for manufacturing steel castings, stain- less steel castings and iron castings for marine applications. Te certifi- cation is valid until June 2020.
Glebar Company, a manufactur-
ing firm specializing in precision grinding systems, announced the opening of a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Ramsey, N.J., after operating in nearby Franklin Lakes, N.J., for more than 60 years. Glebar consolidated of- fices and moved to a larger location to accommodate recent growth and international expansion. The 44,560-sq.-ft. facility houses all employees and operations.
In September, Saran Industries, Indianapolis, announced plans to open a 250,000-sq.-ft. facility in Kokomo, Ind., that could create as many as 60 jobs. Providing finish- ing and machining services to met- alcasters, Saran Industries plans to invest approximately $4.4 million to renovate the facility that had been closed for seven years.
Can-Eng Furnaces Interna-
tional Ltd., Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, has been contracted to manufacture an automated system for the heat treatment of thin- walled high pressure aluminum die castings by a California-based automotive manufacturer. The new

high volume heat treating system includes a solution furnace with cus- tomized structural product fixtures, Can-Eng’s Precision Air Quench (PAQ) system, an artificial aging system and controls integrated into a software system.
BuhlerPrince Inc., Holland, Mich., announced that Mercury Marine, Fond du Lac, Wis., has chosen the its 4575CCA high pressure diecasting ma- chine to support increased volume of its sterndrive engine platform. Tis machine will be delivered in June 2016.
