TEXAS CONGRESSMAN Michael C. Burgess, MD, received a rock star’s re- ception and multiple standing ovations when he gave a rousing victory speech on the repeal of Medicare’s Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) formula before the Texas Medical Association House of Delegates on May 2 at TexMed 2015 in Austin.
