At the time, a local Fred Astaire dance studio was raising funds to support those devastated by the tsunami in Japan. “Our friends introduced my husband and me to the studio. We took lessons and helped with fundraising. We went there for six months to learn social ballroom dancing, and we even did a show number together.”
