ew Orleans, often called the most unique in the United States, will host the VFW Auxiliary’s 104th National Convention July 22-26. A cultural gumbo. T is is one way the city’s
convention and visitors bureau describes New Orleans’ rich history, infl uenced by the ingredients of nearly three centuries of European, Caribbean and African culture and a mirepoix of residents; from merchants, farmers and free African Americans to French and Spanish nobility to indentured servants and slaves.
