Bring The Family

PILE IN THE CAR AND HEAD FOR NORDIC.

re we there yet? Your car is packed to the brim with the next generation of skiers and snow- boarders. There’s arguably more snacks smashed into the seats than the bellies of the youngsters. As we all know, hitting the slopes with the family isn’t a perfect science. It’s more like an uncontrolled experi- ment, yielding different results EVERY time, which is exactly why you should roll the family wagon towards Nordic Valley. This place is just easy, affordable and downright accommodating—kinda the perfect recipe when the entire family is in tow.

While Nordic Valley won’t dress your kids and make sure they have both gloves, they will otherwise seriously go out of their way to make your day (or night) easy. Think ample parking just steps from the snow and snacks sold out of a big barn that’s fun (with no leather couches or any other fancy lodge décor that your kids could annihi- late). And best of all, the prices— like $25 day tickets for the kids and $30 day tickets for the parental units. —Brandon Ott
