NMEA Standards: Updates on NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and NMEA OneNet
Steve Spitzer, NMEA’s Technical Director will be discussing the latest technical updates and on all of the NMEA Standards. Discover the progress about NMEA 0183, the world’s most installed marine electronic interface standard, what has been accomplished and what is next for NMEA 0183. Steve will also be presenting the work accomplished on NMEA 2000, the industry’s open network, over the last year and what is on the horizon for NMEA 2000. Third, NMEA OneNet is the next standard that NMEA Committee members have been developing. NMEA OneNet is based on Ethernet and Internet Protocol v6(IPv6). Learn about OneNet’s objectives and where the OneNet Committee is in the development process.
