The pairing of Gaelic singer Alasdair Whyte, from Mull, and electronic composer and musician Ross Whyte, from Aberdeenshire, has resulted in the most original, fresh and exciting sound to emerge in Gaelic music for many years. The multimedia stage show based around their debut album Fairich premiered at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Paul Anderson is one of the most respected exponents of the Scots fiddle tradition, particularly that of North-East Scotland. Paul is also a prolific composer of fiddle tunes. His latest album The High Summit is a collection of self-penned tunes inspired by the people and places of his native Aberdeenshire.

Moishe’s Bagel formed in Edinburgh in 2003. Their highly infectious mix of Klezmer, Jazz and Latin music makes them a unique group in the Scottish music scene. Their current album Salt for Svanetia, is a new score for the Soviet silent classic of the same name and was commissioned by Hippodrome Festival of Silent Film.

Hailing from the Orkney Islands, twin sisters Jennifer & Hazel Wrigley started performing together as a formal duo in 1987 and have risen to international prominence. They have recorded six acclaimed albums (the current one being Idiom), undertaken three world tours, visited forty-seven countries and appeared in countless television and radio productions.
