Derek Northfield + Gill Wright CERAMICS
Derek Northfield makes high fired forms inspired by ancient metal tools and architectural structures. Mark-making is important in the work with references to early text and symbols. Limited amount of thrown and moulded tableware.
Gill Wright makes sculptural forms based around the human body and organic structures in the landscape, exploring lines and curves in space.

Willow View PAINTING
I love the colours and structures of urban and coastal landscapes. This year I am recycling old canvases and am painting in acrylics and oil on already-textured surfaces. Sometimes this works well and other times it is a challenge.
