This class was dom- inated by Tony Langley’s TP52 Gladiator, but maybe a bit unfairly, as they were vastly faster in the rough offshore conditions compared to the extremely well-sailed J/122 Teamwork, slowest-rated boat in the class.


Perhaps because the two ended so close in points it’s not too awful… and most races did indeed go to the day’s better-sailed boat. So all just as it should be.
