NORTH WALES The North Wales Club celebrated its Annual Presentation Dinner at the Royal Oak Betws y Coed in October. Guests of Honour for the evening were Mr and Mrs Randolph Miller, Moorshard Holsteins, recently elected President of Holstein UK. The gathering of 60 members also included guests from the Western Club Mr and Mrs J Porter, Club President, along with the Herd Competition judges Gareth Davies, Caereinion Holsteins, and Tim Rees, Dalebank Holsteins. The Club is also indebted to Delwyn Jones of Genus ABS for their continual support towards the Club including a semen voucher for the prize raffle.
A special mention to Dafydd Jones of Pen Bryn Llan who recently came a close runner-up in Holstein UK’s Little Star award for HYB Members.

The Norfolk Club Annual Dinner Dance was held at Glen Lodge on Friday 27th
February. On the night prizes were also
presented to L G Brigham and Sons from the Easthaugh herd for winning the champion herd, pictured left. The Lyngate herd won the junior herd as well as the homebred heifer class. Ken Procter received prizes on behalf of Robert Paterson’s Airfield herd for the Star Cow, LP50 and female family sections. The award for Norfolk Holstein Young Breeder of 2014 was awarded to Laura Rout.
