Delirium

Located in the Candy Apple Grove section of the park, Delirium seats 40 riders facing outwards with their feet dangling in a ring formation. Once strapped into their seats, they begin slowly swinging back and forth while the ring starts to rotate. The ride quickly gains momentum and before they know it, passengers are provide with swirling views of the park below as they soar to a height of 115ft (35m) inside a maximum arc of 240°. Delirium will delight thrill-seekers as they fly through the air, experiencing gravity defying hang time. Hourly capacity is rated at 600. “We want Kings Dominion to continue to be the top destination

for thrill-seekers and families alike,” notes the park’s vice-president and general manager, Pat Jones. “The opening of Delirium marks our continued commitment to providing those thrills. It’s a unique, exciting ride unlike any other in our park and it’s a fantastic addition to Candy Apple Grove.” Delirium is the second Mondial Revolution ride to be supplied to a Cedar Fair park following the installation of

Pysclone at Canada’s Wonderland in 2002. Also new at Kings Dominion for 2016 are a renovated restroom complex and a shaded garden seating area – just the place for more timid park guests to sit and watch Delirium do its thing!
