BA Components strengthens management and sales teams


BA has strengthened its management team with the recruitment of Nicole Irvine. Nicole has joined as the National Sales Manager of the Industrial Division and has responsibility to further expand and develop the BA Components contract and OEM business in UK.


Nicole has over 25 year’s


experience in the KBB Industry with a background across multiple platforms including bespoke cabinet manufacturing.


Gavin Green has worked for BA Components for over 6 years as


Area Sales Manager for the Midlands area and now takes up the role of National Sales Manager with the departure, for family reasons, of Jonathan Head. Gavin will be managing the team of Area Sales Managers across UK and Ireland. After 8 years at BA Components first as Area Sales Manager and latterly a very successful term as the Southern Contracts Manager, Paul Randall has been promoted to take up the position of Export Sales Manager, working closely with Sales & Marketing Director David Caulfield.


Ideal Bathrooms space programme


Ideal Bathrooms have expanded their Milton Keynes warehousing with the acquisition of a new 40,000 square foot warehouse adjacent to their head office and existing warehouse in Milton Keynes.


The new warehouse offers double the space of the current building and brings the total square footage of the Ideal Bathrooms four sites to over 170,000 square foot.

Dunlop launches Multi-Skill Champion D

The Dunlop Multi-Skill Champion Competition is the only one of its kind in the UK to recognise students across the UK taking the City & Guilds Construction Skills (6219) qualification. The competition culminates in the Grand Final in June with students being tested on their tiling and decorating skills. As an added element this year, finalists will also be tested on their carpentry and joinery skills – a core element of the qualification. Judges at the Grand Final this year include multi- award winning carpenter Nicola Butcher, aka “The Female Chippy”, Wayne de Wet, professional decorator, renowned industry expert and former Dulux Select Decorator of the Year Grand Winner


and Dave Rowley, lead judge for the national SkillBuild finals for wall and floor tiling and Training Manager at Dunlop.


Back in June 2016, 14 year-old Kenneth Sylvester from Doncaster College took home the title of Dunlop Multi-Skill Champion 2016 and more than £1000 worth of tools and products after triumphing in the Grand Final at the manufacturer’s Innovation and Technology Centre in Stoke-on-Trent.
