Colour Revolution

2017 Bathroom Colour Trends T

he most on-trend bathroom colour for 2017 without a doubt will be grey which can give a real uplift to your bathroom décor, making it look bright, modern and ultra-stylish. Greys offer a calming feel to any space and combine perfectly with white ceramics to offer a striking contrast and contemporary look.

Comment by Kevin Harrison Design Director, Ellis

On the face of it grey may sound dull but it works well in a rich variety of shades and hues to create a tranquil and elegant atmosphere in the bathroom. Gloss grey, gloss cashmere and gloss graphite have been success stories in bathrooms and more recently the earthy tones are moving into the grey palette which will continue to be popular this year. Our product development team visit numerous trade shows as we continuously strive to stay ahead of the upcoming industry design trends and grey has very

much featured as the top on-trend colour for 2017.

There’s definitely more consumer design confidence out there for the more adventurous approach to bathroom design and it is worth highlighting the Dulux colour of the year. They have named ‘Denim Drift’ - a gorgeous stone blue - their colour of the year and we are sure to see this trending in 2017. Don’t be surprised also to see the classic black and white making a comeback too.
