Industry Update

Bette shower area Anniversary promotion

Ten years ago, German steel/enamel bath, shower floor and washbasin manufacturer, Bette introduced the world’s first flush-to-floor steel/enamel shower floor, the BetteFloor. Used to create high quality, contemporary and accessible shower areas, there have been many improvements and additions to the range over recent years, including the BetteFloor Side with side outlet, a range of exclusive matt colours and the company’s almost invisible anti-slip: BetteAnti-slip Pro.

To celebrate the latest innovations and the product’s ten year anniversary, Bette is offering its almost invisible BetteAnti-slip Pro on all orders of its BetteFloor and BetteFloor Side shower floor between February 1 and March 31 2017, with no additional charge for the anti-slip surface. Orders should be made through retailers’ usual distributor.

To enable extra-short delivery times, Bette is offering its ten most popular models in white from stock, but any BetteFloor or BetteFloor Side in any colour or dimension ordered during February and March is eligible for the addition of the BetteAnti-slip Pro surface for no additional charge. BetteAnti-slip Pro offers a high level of slip resistance but does not detract from the elegant enamelled surface. BetteFloor and BetteFloor side are steel/enamel shower floors, which are like large tiles and are permanently waterproof, easy to clean and durable. They are available in a huge range of sizes and colours, including 22 matt colours to coordinate with the latest trends in tiles, natural stone and wooden floors. Also available is BetteUpstand: an enamelled steel upturn of the edge, which does away with the need for silicone where the shower floor meets the wall tiles.

Date announced for KBSA AGM & National Meeting 2017

T

he Kbsa is pleased to announce the date of the 2017 AGM & National Meeting, which will take place on Tuesday 03 October in Stratford upon Avon.

Details will be announced in the coming months but the popular ‘Meet the Corporates’ morning which was introduced last year will be expanded and improved for 2017. The format of a lunchtime AGM followed by the conference will be maintained with a selection of interesting and relevant speakers. Topics covered will include business planning in uncertain times and others designed to give delegates practical tips and tools that they can take back to their businesses. Acting Kbsa CEO and Consultant Uwe Hanneck commented: “We had a record turnout last year and the significant changes we introduced were all well received.

“We have some exciting plans in hand and can promise attendees that it will be an event not to be missed.” The Awards Dinner will be held on the same evening providing an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the best designers in the KBB industry. These hotly contended awards have become a must for retailers wanting to promote good design and business practice as well as gain valuable publicity for their showroom.

Booking details will be announced in the coming months but in the meantime if anyone requires further details or wishes to secure their place, please contact the Kbsa office on info@kbsa.org.uk
