Panasonic


The well-being benefits of nature are well known and Panasonic’s nanoe X technology brings nature’s balance indoors. Abundant in nature, hydroxyl radicals inhibit certain pollutants, viruses and bacteria to clean and deodorise. This technology is now available in even more indoor units, suitable for a wide variety of applications.


By creating hydroxyl radicals enveloped by water, nanoe X technology significantly boosts their effectiveness, increasing hydroxyl radicals’ lifetime from less than a second in nature, to more than 600 seconds – 10 minutes indoors. After years of R&D investments, the technology has been improved with the launch of nanoe X, with a 10- and 20-times higher performance. nanoe X Generator Mark 2, which is available in Panasonic units from 2020, produces 9.6 trillion hydroxyl radicals per second.


nanoe X comes as standard in Panasonic’s residential Etherea air conditioning range and the floor console units. The company is now expanding nanoe X availability in Panasonic’s PACi and VRF commercial range, including in the cassette 90:90, new duct units and floor console units over the coming months.

Wolseley


Wolseley Climate is providing HVAC contractors with a cylinder manager in partnership with Gas Track Online, designed to improve the management of refrigerant cylinders and provide full F-Gas reporting. Available completely free to Wolseley Climate customers, the app offers air conditioning and refrigeration engineers the ability to keep track of their cylinder fleet in real-time, while quickly and easily identifying upcoming and current rental charges on cylinders that have passed rent-free periods. Available on desktop and as a mobile app, the cylinder manager also allows engineers to enter refrigerant usage easily and accurately to comply with F-Gas regulations. The cylinder manager tracks cylinders from any supplier and those supplied by Wolseley Climate will automatically be updated when collected and returned, helping engineers to see due dates and rental costs at the click of a button. In addition to having the ability to manage rentals, engineers will have visibility of which gasses they currently have stocks of, as well as who has each cylinder and the remaining weights in each.

Trane has added Sintesis Balance CMAF to its portfolio of multi- pipe units for simultaneous cooling and heating. The fourth generation of Trane’s air-sourced multi-pipe units raises the bar in sustainable, efficient and flexible delivery of cooling and heating in buildings.
