Stand focus: Haier's complete range of HVAC solutions
H
aier headlined innovation with new energy-saving products and technologies offering higher levels of sustainability as
it looks to the future during this time of great change in our industry. On show at Chillventa 2022 was Haier’s
new wall-mounted split system running on R290. This refrigerant is emerging as a serious alternative to high GWP gases in the air conditioning and heat pump market. R290 is a propane grade refrigerant offering an impressive GWP of less than three. Propane has proved to be a superior solution in terms of sustainability and the new wall-mounted split-system running on R290 will be available to customers next year. Full training programmes around safe handling will be rolled out in Europe for our customers.
Also on display for the first time was Haier’s
new range, the Revive Series of wall-mounted splits, for those who want the best in healthy, comfortable, energy efficient indoor cooling and heating. The elegant, white finish looks great in any home or workplace and makes the new Revive Series the perfect choice for customers
looking for a value for money solution with premium features. With its big display, accurate sensor and flat surface side panel, the Revive Series makes life easy for the user. The units are also packed with additional functions to improve efficiency including sleep mode, self-clean function and whispering air for maximum comfort wherever you are in the room. With anti-corrosion coating on the coils and easy installation it is a product that can appeal to installer and user alike. Also making its debut on the stand was the
newly-launched Haier Expert indoor unit with UVC Pro technology which raises comfort to new levels. With its stylish, matt white finish and clean-cut lines, the new Expert ensures comfort at all times. The new Expert delivers high energy efficiency levels of A+++/A++ and is available now in 2.5kW, 3.5kW and 5kW versions with the 7kW unit to be added next year before the season. The UVC Pro module generates plasma to aid sterilisation for a healthier, cleaner, room air environment. It has also been independently tested by Texcell to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 in the unit to 99.991 per cent effectiveness.
For big commercial applications, the
flexible and highly efficient MRV 5-H features at Chillventa 2022. MRV offers a complete VRF solution for a wide range of commercial applications where big comfort cooling and heating is needed making it ideal for offices, shops, hotels, health and education facilities. The MRV is suitable for all these applications with the range offering 10kW to 33kW capacities in a tombstone style outdoor unit and up to 300m pipe runs. The MRV5 range offers 22kW to 63kW in single modules and combinations up to 252kW with 1000m pipe runs for larger projects. All these units can be connected to a vast variety of indoor units as well as AHU ventilation units, together offering a totally flexible system. With the Hydro-box for generating hot water connected to the MRV making its first appearance, the system is even more flexible and complete.
Chillventa 2022 featured Haier’s new Super Aqua Split air-to-water heat pump system. Using the latest air source heat pump technology, these new A2W heaters are ideal for domestic residences and apartments, with a range of 4, 6, 8 and 10kW systems. The Super Aqua range uses R32 refrigerant,
a new generation refrigerant that allows the system to reach 65°C outlet temperatures while being environmentally friendly and reducing the global warming potential compared to older gases. Joining this range on show, Haier has the new A2W Monobloc which has a modern black finish, with a range of 5, 7, 9, 11, 14 and 16kW systems. It delivers A+++ efficiency and is able to reach leaving water temperatures of 60°C. To round up the heating range, on show is
Haier’s M5 Series low carbon Heat Pump Water Heaters. Using the latest heat pump technology these new water heaters are aimed at domestic residences and apartments and can be a sustainable and energy efficient way to provide hot water, reaching a COP of 3.8 at 14°C. The new water heaters are available in two sizes, with 80 and 110 litre capacities, in addition to the 200–300 litre capacity water heaters already on sale, and they are suitable for heating engineers to install. Haier’s energy saving electric water heaters are also on show. These versatile electric water heaters are perfect for everyday hot water needs.
