bfa status: Full

nicenstripy A

Established: 1996

unique franchise, nicenstripy is owned and run by a number of existing franchisees. This means that every

development that takes place is for the whole benefi t of the franchise network, ensuring continuing success. Established in 1996, nicenstripy is the oldest

established lawn cutting and gardening franchise, and has been successfully franchising its business model since 2001. nicenstripy is a full member of the British Franchise Association (bfa). The core business is cutting grass between March and November each year; the business, however, is a year-round opportunity, with the winter months enabling other highly-skilled gardening skills to be implemented. Currently, there are 11 existing franchisees, all

of whom have been trading for over 10 years, with more due to commence in March 2017. Recruiting of new franchisees has not taken place for a number of years while nicenstripy improved its standards, equipment and marketing. The nicenstripy website generates a number

of enquiries daily throughout the year, and, along with a proven weekly marketing plan for new franchisees to follow, your new business has strong

foundations for success. A centralised call centre ensures you never miss a call from new or existing customers and saves you yet more time. The equipment nicenstripy uses is the best on the market, which, together with the techniques it uses, ensures its work is of the highest possible standards. Indeed, nicenstripy boasts that no individual or company can improve on the standards set by the brand. nicenstripy’s computerised scheduling system

dramatically reduces the amount of paperwork required to run the business and, of equal importance, reduces the time needed to do so. Working from an iPad, supplied at no extra cost as part of your package, the niceneasy offi ce ensures that you visit each and every customer when you should, making nicenstripy the most reliable gardeners in the industry today. Start-up costs for a nicenstrpy franchise are under £20,000, plus £1,500 working capital is recommended. The average nicenstripy franchise owner will recover the total investment within the fi rst year. Full training in every aspect of running the business is included within the start-up costs, including the commercial qualifi cations needed to become a professional gardener.
