“Thank you to The Equiery for the gen- erous donations for the Joan Kelly Me- morial Reading Camp fi eld trip to Mer- ryland Farm. The theme for this year’s camp was horses and the kids were ec- static about all of the take home swag. Country Life Farm hosted 25 campers, 10 youth counselors and 10 adults who got to see nearly all the phases of a Thor- oughbred’s life. From mares and foals to horses in training! Many of the kids had never seen a horse up close. I have no doubt that we have ignited a new genera- tion of passionate new horse lovers.” - Sallyellen Hurst of Country Life Farm
