MARYLAND-BREDS


Jennifer Poole Nesse of Belle Cote Farm in Burtonsville has two Arabian/Thoroughbred crosses and one full Arabian by the Arabian stallion El Taras Kahn. The stallion is owned by Jennifer’s mother Debbie Poole. Belle Cote’s Kahndera is out of the Arabian mare Codera while Belle Cote’s Kismet and Belle Cote’s Kahnseco are both out of the Thoroughbred mare Halam Star.


MRK Pumped Up Kicks, a three-year-old Oldenburg colt by In- nverness and out of Fleeting Love, is owned and bred by Lorie Richards. Richards also owns the dam, who is a Maryland-bred off-the-track Thoroughbred. Richards and Pumped Up Kicks are shown here at the colt’s fi rst show.


Franklins Casanova, an Oldenburg by Franklin and out of GNF Crescendo*/*/*, is owned by Mark Hunter and bred by Gabrielle Cottone.


Cynthia McNemar bred the Oldenburg Royal Casino, pictured here winning the Future Event Horse championship in 2020. The gelding is out of Cynthia’s mare Lady Logan and by the stallion Rosentha. Royal Casino is owned by Doug and Cindy Howe.


Lovestruck (aka Violet) is a 2020 Oldenburg NA by Lordanos and out of Remarkable*. She is pic- tured here with her dam Remark- able*, who is by Redwine and out of Quite an Evening. Both mother and daughter are owned and bred by Laurie and Olivia McDowell.


The Oldenburg Lady Leia is owned and bred by Cynthia McNemar. The mare is by Ruffi an and out of Lady Logan.
