Active in community ser- vice projects. Fun and chance for competition with or without horses. Interscholastic Equestrian Association, Zone 3 National organization off fering hunt seat equitation, western and saddleseat. Open to young riders on teams from schools or barns. Iron Bridge Hounds Pony Club USPC Club with members from Montgomery and Howard counties, ages 10-21. Participate in quizzes, mounted games, dressage, com- bined training, show jumping and lessons. Linthicum 4-H Hi Riders Youth group for children and young adults ages 8-18. Clover group for younger children also available. Long Green Pony Club Maryland Region of USPC. Most activities take place in the Long Green and Monkton areas of Baltimore Co. Participate in rallies and other


competitions throughout the Maryland Region and nationally. Maryland Future Farmers of America Youth leadership organization of almost 3,000 student members comprising of 47 FFA chapters. Developing potential for leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Mounted Wanderers 4-H Horse & Pony Club & Open Horse Show Circuit 30 years of hosting English and Western open show circuit at Oak Ridge Park in Hughesville. Pony Express 4-H Club Horse oriented 4-H club for Queen Anne’s County. Potomac Pony Club Program for youth teaching riding, mounted sports and care of horses/ ponies. Developing responsibility, moral judgment, leadership and self- confi dence. Off ers riding lessons, meetings and follows USPC curriculum. Redland Hunt Pony Club Founded in 1958. For youths 6-25 teaching riding, mounted sports, horse management, and equestrian knowledge. Most activities occur in and around Sandy Spring and Olney in Montgomery county. Red Ribbon 4-H Horse Club Washington County 4-H Club. Saddles & Spurs 4-H Washington County 4-H Club. Seneca Valley Pony Club Local affi liate of the USPC. Teaches riding, horse knowledge, and horse management to young riders. Sponsors two U.S. Eventing Association recognized horse trials a year. Shenandoah Valley Pony Club Capital Region member pony club. Silver Spurs 4-H Club Garrett Co. equine 4-H club. Spur & Stirrup 4-H Club Howard County 4-H horse club.

Delmarva Region USPC, the premier equestrian youth organization in the U.S. Excellent, safe and aff ordable riding instruction, fun days, clinics and competitions. Based in Kent and Queen Anne’s counties Wakefi eld Valley Pony Club To develop and encourage a knowledge of horsemanship including horse care and fair and friendly competition. Off ering youth rallies, monthly meetings, access to group lessons for members only. Waredaca Pony Club .......................................................12 USPC recognized Pony Club Riding Center. Members do not have to own a horse to participate. Horses provided by Waredaca for rallies and lessons. Club is part of the Maryland Region.
