What do you enjoy most about your role? I enjoy the unknown. In marketing we are always anticipating next steps, customers’ response, and program longevity. In my day to day, I try my best to anticipate, but the excitement of not knowing what project/task can be given to you keeps everything exciting.
What to do you like the most about working with the brand Morgan Taylor? I love that I get to touch every part of the process. I love that we can be disruptive to nail lacquer brands that have been around and are doing the same thing over and over. We get to set a new standard.
What is your input when it comes to creating Morgan Taylor’s seasonal collections? When a concept and colour are pitched for a collection the entire brand group gets to
participate. We need to go in educated on what the trends are for both themes and colours to make recommendations. Both Morgan and Taylor really drive our seasonal collections and it’s really exciting to see what different ideas they pitch for each season.
What is your favourite new product that Morgan Taylor has released recently? I love the new Designer Plates Nail Art Stamping kits! The quality of the kits are amazing and it’s so fun to create different nail looks – there are so many designs to choose from!
What is your favourite Morgan Taylor shade and why? It’s a tie between Birthday Suit and No Way Rosé. Birthday Suit is my go to for every day wear. No Way Rosé in the bottle and on different skin tones is amazing
Do you have a strict nail care routine? What are your top tips on keeping your nails and skin healthy? I’m constantly testing new products. Typically, I either have my nails nicely done or I have a different colour on each nail. I keep a bottle of Remedy on my desk and my day usually starts after I apply to my cuticles. I bathe in BareLuxury Calm Massage butter throughout the day!
What is your current favourite nail trend? And what other trends do you think we could see in 2017? I’m a neutral girl, so I’m definitely a fan of the nude trend that is going on. My thoughts are that 2017 will be the return of the party nails – loud, bright, fun nails.
