Step 1: Consultation
Have your client fill out the Footlogix Pedicure Information Form. This will identify any medical conditions or allergies and help you understand your client’s foot care needs. For an extra touch, spray the Footlogix Shoe Deodorant into your client’s shoes to refresh footwear.
Step 2: Evaluation
Spray the feet with Footlogix Foot Deodorant, remove nail polish and perform a thorough evaluation of the skin and nails, paying attention to any unsightly toe nails or rough, peeling skin. Follow the three simple steps to move on to the next stage of the pedicure – Recognise, Recommend and Refer.
Step 3: Preparation
Add one pump of Footlogix Foot Soak into a foot bath. Soak the feet for 5 to 10 minutes (or less than 5 minutes if the client is diabetic). The Footlogix Foot Soak hydrates feet and softens calluses, making cuticle work and callus removal easier and gentler.
Step 4: Exfoliation
Remove your client’s feet from the foot bath and gently pat dry. Dispense one pump of Footlogix Exfoliating Seaweed Scrub into the palm of your hand and apply in a circular upward motion onto the feet and up the legs. Add water to emulsify the scrub as desired, rinse the product off the feet and legs and pat dry.
Step 5: Application
Spray the Footlogix Callus Softener around the toe nails, onto calluses and any dry skin on the sole of the foot, letting the product absorb for 2 to 3 minutes. Once the skin is no longer wet but slightly tacky, use the Footlogix Professional Foot File to reduce calluses. Reapply the Footlogix Callus Softener as required but do not wash off as it will continue to hydrate the skin with cumulative, long-term effects.
Step 6: Reparation
Trim the toe nails and clean around the nails in the groove, under the free edge and along cuticles. If you recognised in your evaluation with your client that they have unsightly toe nails, spray the Footlogix Toe Nail Tincture under the affected nails, spraying underneath the nail bed for more effective results.
Step 7: Rejuvenation
Based on your findings from your consultation and evaluation with your client, tailor your mousse product to their needs. Massage the mousse into the skin, paying special attention to effected areas.
Step 8: Moisturisation
Use 2 to 3 pumps of the Footlogix Massage Formula as the final pedicure step and massage into the feet and legs. The Massage Formula is non-greasy but has enough slip for a 5 to 7 minute massage.
Step 9: Beautification
Here is where you can introduce your traditional pedicure process and apply a polish colour of your client’s choice. Whilst applying, talk your client through the recommended Footlogix At Home Care products to maintain their Footlogix results.
Step 10: Continuation
Using the Footlogix At Home Care Pad, check off the recommended foot care products to be used at home and instruct the client on how to use them. Give this to the client to conclude the pedicure and advise them on booking their next Footlogix pedicure to maintain their new, healthy feet.
