Cockpit Suspension


Gazzmatic International Ltd., manufacture a very extensive range of adjustable dampers and suspension kits for the road and motorsport market. Gaz units are provided with an on car multi point adjustment facility that alters bump and rebound setting on a pre set ratio by a single control knob on the side of the unit, bump setting can also be altered for various motorsport use. Classic and historic car application can be made with a variety of end fi tting i.e. spherical bearings, metalastic or polyurethane bushes to suit most vehicles. Valving can be adjusted for motorsport applications. All units are fi tted with multiple seal systems to ensure greater durability. The piston rods are induction hardened and hard chrome plated to resist dirt and stone damage. All the bodies are zinc plated to help protect the units from corrosion. The units are all fully serviceable.


1 GAZ GT


A very extensive range of telescopic dampers for both modern and classic car applications. These units can be built in various open and closed lengths and will adjust bump and rebound off a single control knob.


2 GAZ GAI


A range of top adjustable inserts that alter rebound only but are available with various bump rates for road or competition cars manufactured from the 1960’s onwards.


3 GAZ GS


This is a fi xed spring seat unit to take standard diameter coil springs with the added benefi t adjustable damping from a single control knob. These units are manufactured mainly for the classic car market to retain original equipment ride height but lengths can be adjusted to customer’s requirements if the car is to be lowered or raised for competition use.


4 GAZ GHA KITS


GHA (Gaz height adjustable) kits are designed for fast road use. Features single damping adjustment and shortened body/stroke lengths to allow -25 to -65mm ride height adjustment. The units have a coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and are zinc plated. Provided with high quality coil springs in various rates and diameters, rates can be altered on request to suit customer’s requirements. When coilover is unable to be installed a separate damper and rear coil spring with a variable spring platform is used so the kit retains full height adjustment.


5 GAZ GOLD


GAZ GOLD height adjustable kits are a premium range of suspension units designed for tarmac motorsport and the serious track day enthusiast. Main features include: • Front and rear units adjust bump and rebound from a single control knob. • Struts and semi struts with 62mm bodies for increased oil capacity. • Fitted with 22mm dia. induction hardened piston rods - chrome plated for strength and durability. • Multi lip sealing – extends mail seal performance under extreme conditions. • Fitted with gas cell to prevent cavitation and reduce fade. • Coilovers and telescopic units utilise lightweight billet alloy components where possible. 6 GAZ GOLD MONOTUBE


GAZ GOLD MONOTUBE is a new quality damper to satisfy the need of the discerning competition and track day enthusiast. Main features include: • Built from high tensile alloy to withstand high stresses involved in race conditions. • Damper body is hard anodized to give maximum protection against wear. • Bump and rebound are adjustable by a single adjuster on the rod. • Unit is charged with an inert gas via an internal fl oating piston. • PTFE lined spherical bearings are used for end fi tting to give a smooth quiet mounting of the unit.


7 GAZ GOLD PRO


GAZ GOLD PRO Most of the telescopic range and all types of coilover units are produced with a gas cell in the outer reservoir. This helps prevent cavitation. Units are ten fi lled with a multi grade high viscosity index fl uid to help resist fade under extreme conditions. Roller bearing mounts are an optional extra off ered by Gaz for these units.


8 GAZ DA


GAZ DA Flagship range of independent bump and rebound adjustable coilover units designed for motorsport use. Main features include: • All aluminium body and end fi tting to take bearing or metalastic bushes. • 16mm piston rod and are fi tted with a progressive rate closed cell bump stop. • Units can be installed from vertical to horizontal as there is a gas cell fi tted in the outer reservoir.
