system is supplied on a hosted basis from a data centre in Beirut. An implementation for the supplier in 2015 was at Burundi based Banque de Gestion et de Financement (BGF), replacing a locally developed cobol-based legacy system, with go-live achieved in September 2015. This first deal in Burundi was following a rigorous 19-month selection process. Being able to offer a fully hosted option would seem
to be a strength, with Capital Outsourcing able to do so for non-core areas such as telecoms plus other areas of banking, such as trade finance (it handles this for Bank Audi), plus CapitalBanker itself. It also has a cheque clearing solution that
is used by Ecobank and Société Générale in Africa, among others. Another deal in the same year was with Banque de l’Habitat, a housing finance lender in Lebanon. Ivory Coast-based NSIA Bank chose Sopra Banking
Software’s Amplitude core system in late 2015 to replace Capital Banking Solution’s CapitalBanker. NSIA Bank is modernising its information system and chose Sopra after a long-running selection process.
In 2018, Capital Banking Solutions announced that CapitalBanker is available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
