ARA SCHOLARSHIPS

ROOTED IN LEARNING

H 52

Providing scholarships to the student members of automotive recycling families helps them realize their dreams of higher education. This is a real return on investment for their future –and ours.

ow often in a lifetime do you have the opportunity to give something very personal from your business which directly rewards your employee, and his or her family while at the same time contribute to the betterment of our world? Education is the keystone of any progressive society and the more we contribute to the growth and educational development of our youth the more success- ful we are as a whole. Your ongoing support of the ARA Scholarship Foundation, Inc. does exactly that.

The ARA Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organiza- tion whose purpose is to promote education through the awarding of scholarships based on scholastic achievement. Monies are avail- able to ARA members’ employee’s children for post-high school educational pursuits. These scholarships are funded through contri- butions from people like you, who care about the future of our chil- dren, as well as money raised at events. Each year, the Foundation awards approximately $30,000 - $50,000 to deserving students. Many generous contributors help the Foundation achieve its goals year after year. The funds help more students achieve their dream – gaining a higher education. We appreciate all of you who gener- ously contributed to this effort. Now, how can you help? Send a tax-deductible donation today or sponsor a named scholarship with a $1,000 donation for one year. For a $10,000 donation, a permanent scholarship may be named. A named scholarship can be made in honor or memory of anyone they wish. Contributions may be made by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.

Application deadline is March 15, 2018. Download an application from www.a-r-a.org/best-practices/programs/ara-scholarship-program/ or contact Kelly Badillo directly at (571) 208-0428 or kelly@a-r-a.org to receive an application by mail or e-mail.
