my kids’ volleyball team,” said Steve Fletcher, Automotive Recyclers of Canada. “The process was super easy and the communication was great. We had a check in about one week. Many members are col- lecting fobs now as an easy way to extract more value out of every vehicle.”

“The Iowa Auto Recyclers are proud to see the growth and innovation taking place at We Buy Key Fobs,” said Sue Schauls, Iowa Automotive Recyclers. “They were a great addition to the IAR team at the summer outing and we are there to sup- port their team. Sending key fobs in for added sales and recycling value embodies the true original recycler philosophy.”

Feregrino says that key fobs are only the beginning. “Smalls (a small recycled and re-sellable part) as we refer to them, will continue to increase salvage yard profits,” he said. “Key fobs are not the only product we want to be involved with, they are just the beginning.

There are smalls out there waiting to be discovered. As we continue to work with ARA members we will help to expose those smalls to help increase profits.”

In addition to exploring more small parts, Feregrino says ARA members have encouraged them to start a charity program. “I feel very lucky to be a part of ARA,” said Feregrino. “Its members

are extremely friendly and genuinely interested in our business model. I have also seen so much generosity from ARA members that it sparked my company to roll out an option for ARA members where they can donate a portion or all of their key fob proceeds to the charity of their choice.”

If an ARA member has other small parts ideas, I encourage them to contact me at jj@webuykeyfobs.com or call me at (402) 671-5100, ext. 201. Recyclers with key fobs for pick up should call (402) 671-5100. Michelle Keadle-Taylor is afreelance writer based in Northern Virginia.
