Events and accommodations Join the Party!

Cocktail Hour at National Museum of the United States Air Force Join us for cocktail hour “under the

wings” at the Air Force Museum. The museum will will host a private party for International Trails Symposium attendees on May 8. Transportation will be provided for all attendees. Drinks will be available at the no-host bar. Located at Wright-Patterson Air

Force Base, this is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world. We invite you to spend more time at the museum during your visit to Dayton.  www.nationalmuseum.af.mil.

Trails Rock Party at RiverScape Pavilion

Just a few blocks from the conven-

tion center, this party is sure to please! Attendees who visited the museum will then be transported to the Trails Rock Party at the RiverScape Pavilion, which is located along the Great Miami River National Water Trail (recently named a national water trail in June 2016, it is only one of 22 national water trail sys- tems in the country). Attendees can bike

or stroll the trail system, check out recent boating improvements and a white water play area, and enjoy yummy food from a variety of vendors, complimentary beer, a live auction, and rocking out to The Sly Band— an 11 piece ensemble including horns! Transportation will be provided to

attendees from your hotel as well (if you did not go to the museum). You also have the option to walk or use the Link bike share.

Free public event

kicks off Symposium Discover, Learn, and Celebrate Trails Everyone is invited to attend the

 Trails Symposium. The exhibit hall will be open FREE OF CHARGE to the pub- lic on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from noon to  can host a table at this half-day free public event for only $25 (businesses can have a table for $100). More details on this fun event are to come! Following the free public event, paid attendees will enjoy the Welcome exhibit hall. A light dinner will be served and a no-host bar will be avail- able. Tickets for non-attendees can be purchased.

Hotels offer comfort

and convenience - modations while attending the Symposium. Attendees are responsible for making their own room reserva- tions. To receive the discounted rate, attendees must identify themselves as an attendee with the “American Trails International Trails Symposium” when making their reservation.

Rate: $129/night plus tax (government per diem rate of $97/night plus tax) Experience the vibrant energy of downtown Dayton when you stay at the luxurious Crowne Plaza. Located via skywalk to the Dayton Convention Center and a short 20 minute drive from the Dayton International Airport.

Marriott University of Dayton Rate: $97/night plus tax (government per diem rate available to all attendees) Located 1.5 miles from convention center at the University of Dayton. Free transportation and bike share are pro- vided for Symposium attendees to and from the convention center.
