Belfast International Airport Announce Changes to Drop-Off Charges
BELFAST International Airport have confirmed drop-off charges at the airport will now increase. Posting via social media the
airport confirmed that a £3 charge will occur from Monday 17th April within it’s drop off zone. Belfast’s George Best City Airport also introduced a similar charge back in March, with the same fee now applying to those within the airport’s express drop-off. The fee will not affect those entering the long stay car park which will remain free for for the 15 minute grace period; after that, regular charges will apply. Smoking Ban Introduced on Ibiza and Mallorca Beaches
HOLIDAYMAKERS are being warned to look out for ‘smoke-free areas’ on their next visit to the Balearic Islands of Spain as the government push towards improving health standards across the areas. Reported by The Mirror, 28 beaches, including many across Ibiza and Mallorca, have now signed up to the ‘smoke-free beaches, healthy beaches’ campaign which was first introduced back in 2019.
Banners and QR codes displaying both the health risks and littering aspects of smoking will be seen within the designated areas. Although banned, holidaymakers won’t face
a hefty fine from officials for smoking, but are encouraged to think of their responsibility for both the area and the environment as tobacco products pose health risks for both human and marine life.
The government hopes the imposed ban will help to keep the beaches of the Balearic Islands clean and encourage more holidaymakers to enjoy the area.
President Clinton Returns to The Europa Hotel
FORMER US President Bill Clinton was welcomed back to the Europa Hotel where he met with staff, including Head Concierge Martin Mulholland, who he first met when he stayed with his wife Hilary in 1995 and then again in 1998. Greeting the Europa Hotel’s General Manager, Andy McNeill, President Clinton said, “I’m so glad to be back”. “We were thrilled to welcome President Clinton back to the Europa Hotel. He was genuinely delighted to return and said it was good to see familiar faces. The atmosphere in the hotel was electric, guests were cheering and thanking him for everything he has done for Northern Ireland. President Clinton and Hilary dined with friends and after their meal they asked to speak to our Executive Head Chef Kyle Greer as they really enjoyed the food,” Andy said.

easyJet Celebrates 150th Fearless Flying Course with New Dates
EASYJET has celebrated its 150th Fearless Flyer course, which took place last month with the experience flight taking off from Gatwick Airport.
The milestone also coincided with the programme welcoming its 11,000th participant, with operating crew and the Fearless Flyer team commending nervous flyers onboard as they had the opportunity to overcome their fear and take to the skies.
Over the last 10 years, the course, which has now helped more than 11,000 phobics, continues to be one of the best- priced aerophobia courses in the UK, starting at just £89 per person, and further dates in May and June this year have been announced with experience flights taking off from Gatwick, Luton, Bristol, Manchester, Belfast.

Featuring a virtual element of the programme that was introduced last year, easyJet’s Fearless Flyer course is divided into three main parts:
