Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with Glenapp Castle
CELEBRATE the Queen, whilst living like a queen, in the beautiful Glenapp Castle, a 21-bedroom luxurious Relais & Chateaux hotel tucked away on the breath-taking Ayrshire coast, Scotland. Guests can find themselves getting lost within the castle’s 110 acres of private estate and local woodland or escaping to the majestic Scottish countryside for long romantic walks and beautiful views of Ailsa Craig and Northern Ireland. In addition to its stunning location, the Castle is renowned for offering an abundance of 65 and more indoor and outdoor activities, as well as several new activities added in 2021 including: axe throwing, canoeing, coasteering, kayaking, yoga, forest bathing and a digital detox day – there truly is something for everyone. To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Glenapp Castle will have a special afternoon tea available throughout the month of June. Guests can expect a dazzling display of purple, gold and diamonds with treats including a tonka bean macaron topped with a royal crown, a Scottish blackberry & lavender mousse with an olive oil Sponge and almond sable. Other highlights include a blackcurrant choux bun with Hendricks Gin jelly & Parma Violet cremeaux as well as a jewel encrusted passionfruit, milk chocolate & vanilla delice – a truly royal afternoon tea! What’s more, if you are called Elizabeth – you will get a free glass of champagne! This afternoon tea is available in the hotel’s new Azalea Glasshouse & Bothy Restaurant opening in May 2022 – the hotel plans to take their F&B offering to new heights and to ensure that Glenapp Castle is continuing to be a sought-after destination for food fanatics.

Situated in the centre of the Castle’s Walled Garden, The Azalea Glasshouse & Bothy Restaurant are adjoining, giving guests the choice of the surrounding gardens or picturesque views of the Azalea Pond. These two spaces can be kept separate for private dining experiences and more intimate events, or they can be combined and offered exclusively, for private events or weddings and can seat up to 100 guests.
