GETTING TO NEW YORK JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT SMARTER

THERE’S A BRAND NEW WAY TO FLY BUSINESS BETWEEN LONDON AND NEW YORK FOR LESS. A LOT LESS.

Following in the footsteps of its already successful Paris-New York route, all-business class airline La Compagnie launched its newest route in April, flying you to New York from London. It really is the smartest way to cross the Atlantic in style. With more than 20,000 happy passengers, this French boutique airline offers all the bells and whistles of business class without the business class price tag.

100% BUSINESS CLASS CABIN, EXPERIENCE AND AMENITIES.

Savvy travellers know that La Compagnie’s chosen homebase, London Luton airport, is the hassle-free way to take off for the Big Apple. Avoiding the larger London airports is always a win- win situation. With all the convenience of transport links to and from the heart of the capital and beyond, London Luton’s easy- to-navigate terminal and the airline’s fast-track security status, you’ll be enjoying La Compagnie’s lounge pre-flight in no time. On arrival at Newark Liberty Airport, Manhattan is just a short taxi or train ride away. “No wasted time” should be the airline’s motto. Once inside La Compagnie’s stylishly redesigned Boeing 757-200 cabin, passengers are peacefully welcomed by the sight of just 74 comfortable, generously proportioned lie-flat beds, all decked out in the airline’s baby blue livery. Practically personalised attention is offered up by La Compagnie’s highly trained crew, and the in-flight treats they hand out include amenity kits from cult French beauty brand Caudalie. Each passenger has the use of a Samsung Galaxy Pro 12’’ tablet uploaded with a selection of movies, magazines, newspapers and music. So far, so very good. Or should that be très bien?

CUISINE BY FRENCH CHEF CHRISTOPHE LANGRÉE

There is a distinctly Gallic flavour to the in-flight menus on La Compagnie. Seasonally inspired dishes created by renowned French chef Christophe

Langrée – yes, there is an actual French chef behind the airline’s food – are paired with his personally selected wines and champagne. Feeling a bit peckish during your flight? A choice of complimentary snacks as well as juices and soft drinks are offered whenever the mood takes you.
