When the current owners moved into the property, they knew a lot of work was needed. They decided on a huge extension to create a kitchen to become the hub of the home. The clients didn’t want to modernise the property, but to keep all changes relevant to the age of the house. The central island was built for entertaining and for having family over at weekends. The Aga was always on the list of appliances to create a stunning feature within the room. They never wished for a striking, super-modern look but a design that blended with the original build – a design that complemented the home.



