the BL­16600 utility/rescue hoist is the most compact and lowest weight equipment of its kind. Matching the size and power of light, single engine helicopters, this “baby” hoist has been use primarily in its utility role, enhancing helicopters operational capabilities. The hoist is also used by several search and rescue services as a back up hoist. Different configurations of this hoist have been installed and operated on some of the most popular light lift civil/civilian helicopters.
