2015 BRINGS EXCITING INDUSTRY INSIGHTS TO ROTORCRAFT PRO READERS
Although last year was not a boom year for our industry, tenacity of spirit and useful diversity kept us moving ever forward. It’s in this same spirit that we at Rotorcraft Pro have also committed to progress. Rather than try and emulate others, we continuously seek to carve out our own identity as a media provider to the helicopter industry. To that end, I hope that you’ll indulge me for a moment so that I can off er you a peek at some of the bold moves that we intend to make this year.
SALARY & BENEFITS SURVEY
What are you worth? That is the question we hope to answer in our industry-wide salary survey. Rotorcraft Pro is calling all helicopter pilots (including managers) to participate in the survey. We created a 24-question confi dential survey that only takes fi ve minutes to complete and covers demographics, pay, benefi ts, and job satisfaction. We plan to publish the results in a comprehensive report in the May 2015 issue. You can play a role in the process by taking the survey at salarysurvey.

OEM SURVEY
How do you rate the helicopter you fl y? There are several OEM surveys out there, but most only survey one or two facets of an OEM’s performance. Our new survey will learn how pilots, mechanics, managers, and operators in the industry rate the OEM/aircraft they fl y. We will cover several areas, including: aircraft performance, safety features, training, customer support, innovation, and resale. The results of this survey will be reported in the July 2015 issue.
TOP 20 INDUSTRY INNOVATORS Who is leading the way in
ROTORCRAFT PRO EN ESPANOL
In March 2015 we will be introducing a Spanish edition of Rotorcraft Pro in digital format. This will not just be a translated version of the English edition, but will incorporate content specifi c to countries in Latin America. Rotorcraft Pro En Espanol will be available from its own dedicated website as well as from apps available through Apple Newsstand and Google Play.
