At the ICE show in London, ELO’s Regional Manager Mike Sigona described the influence of toouch on the gaming industry: “Touch remains an exploding trend,” said Mr. Sigona. “In casinos, touch is expected from a new tech- savvy generation of players. Facing increased competition from online gaming, casinos are looking to diversify by offering new experiences to complement existing gaming, including interactive digital signage and kiosks for shows, restaurant reservations and loyalty info.”

Te main stumbling block for OEM, however, has been the price point, but fortunately, ELO has now changed all that.

Mr. Sigona told us: “Te drive behind the development of our new factory in China is to deliver new technology while lowering the cost to OEMs. Not only has the new factory allowed us to affordably create brilliant and engaging gaming experiences, it has actually quadrupled our capacity. We now manufacture 2,000 monitors a day, which is roughly half a million a year. We design and manufacture every component and oversee every stage of each monitor’s manufacture. We can ensure quality at every stage and also that no part of the supply chain will suddenly go out of business, which happened to four PCAP suppliers last year.”

ELO now supplies all sizes of gaming monitors from 10 to 70ins. all with touch on release, touch exclusion zones, touch count restrictions, edge acceleration, beep on touch and a real-time application programming interface.

Mr. Sigona added: “Tere are now four or five

EveryMatrix launches enhanced OddsMatrix

EveryMatrix introduced a series of new components to the latest generation of its sportsbook, OddsMatrix, at ICE Totally Gaming 2017 alongside its Money Matrix payment solution

Built from the ground up with no code reuse, the new sportsbook product from EveryMatrix is a flexible platform fit for operators of all sizes. Te OddsMatrix team worked upon developing multiple components based on an architecture designed for horizontal scalability and high- availability. It benefits from modern integration options, a faster and flexible front-end and lower time-to-market.

Roee Weinberg, OddsMatrix CEO and one of the main drivers behind the new product, said: “Te new OddsMatrix sportsbook considerably cuts down the development time for adding new sports and markets. Furthermore, our settlement component received equal attention. For every point scored in a tennis or basketball match, for every corner kick or yellow card awarded in a soccer match, we check, in a matter of seconds, if this allows any markets to be settled. Bet settlement operations now take place in close to real-time in the new OddsMatrix, resulting into faster paying players and faster possibility to reinvest winnings.”

ELO’s China factory has quadrupled productivity

Te competitive price of ELO’s new range of 90-series OpenFrame Touch Monitors is helping the gaming industry move away from Surafe Acoustic Wave (SAW) and Surface Capacitive touchscreen technology to embrace the new Projected Capacitive Touch Technology (PCAP) used on smart phones and tablets.

types of PCAP in the market, but there is none better than our 2 Glass projected capacitive touchscreen technology (2GS PCAP), which delivers a 10-touch true-flat and tablet-like experience also with Tru-Glass capabilities.”

With 2GS PCAP cabinet makers can benefit from modern true flat design possibilities and game designers can implement touch gestures and up to 10 simultaneous touches expected by younger players, both enhancing players’ gaming experiences, without increasing costs.

Elo's 2GS PCAP technology sets itself apart as it is comprised of two layers of glass without any plastic film for optimal image quality and long- term stability. Film PCAP comes with an increased risk of delamination and loss of sensitivity due to the expansion and contraction of plastic, and can yellow when exposed over time to the heat and humidity found in many gaming jurisdictions. By using two layers of glass, Elo’s 90-Series provides a more suitable and resistant option for varied uses and environments. And it looks great too.

Te new OddsMatrix front-end is fully responsive and allows sports operators to deliver a customised experience to players. Te new OddsMatrix caters to clients that want to have more control and manage the website changes by themselves. Furthermore, with the sports APIs, clients can build their own front- end with a unique look and feel.

Mr Weinberg added: “Having the possibility to introduce our new sportsbook at this year’s ICE is a long-awaited opportunity. Hard work is finally starting to bear fruit and it’s a great feeling that we can finally show it to clients. We’ll continue to invest into the new platform and new components we’ll be deployed soon.”

EveryMatrix followed up three huge deals before the exhibition with Norsk Tipping, Greentube and GameScale with one at the show with K8, a major force in online gaming and sponsors of West Bromwich Albion Football Club. Under this agreement, EveryMatrix will provide its fully managed sportsbook and casino solution into all UK facing K8 brands.

“K8 Gaming’s connection to football and racing makes them well-acquainted with the British sports arena and we are thrilled to expand our presence in the UK market with yet another major sign. Tis partnership represents a positive element for our reputation in the region,” said Ebbe Groes, EveryMatrix CEO.
