GERMANY – The Gauselmann Group is reorganising its international arcade activities, appointing Stefan Bruns the newly appointed Operations Director of Casino Merkur International. The subsidiary is


responsible for the Group’s international arcade activities and operates in excess of 200 modern entertainment centres in eight European countries.


Since mid-2015, Stefan Bruns has been responsible for the operating activities of Merkur Gaming, adp Gauselmann’s international sales and development brand, together with Athanasios Isaakidis. Prior to that, he successfully supported the Gauselmann Group on a number of international projects. “Our goal is to consolidate Casino Merkur’s position in the international arena going forward, enabling the company to meet growing demands. International Game Technology has announced that its subsidiary, GTECH Sweden Interactive, has signed an eight-year contract extension with Synot Group to continue providing system software and game content for Synot’s interactive video terminals (IVTs) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia through 2026.

Novomatic Lottery Solutions enters agreement with OPAP

Following a competitive procurement process, OPAP, the Greek betting and lottery group, has selected NOVOMATIC Lottery Solutions (NLS) as its new technology partner for its numerical lotteries business.


NLS will provide OPAP with its innovative and secure Omni- channel Lottery platform for all lottery games, including its popular games Kino, Tzoker and Lotto. Te NLS platform will commence full operation in 2018. Tis process will also include the replacement of the retail system for all OPAP points of sale.NLS will also deliver its comprehensive Player Account Management


system to support all OPAP’s games in all channels, initially for digital customers and ultimately extending to OPAP’s large retail network. Te contract is for an initial five- year period with the possibility of extensions.
