Terminal can simultaneously load two ships with refriger- ated propane and butane at a combined rate of 36,000 barrels an hour. Supply is sourced from the Phillips 66 Partners’ Sweeny fractionator and Clemens storage facility, which is connected by pipeline to the Mont Belvieu Hub. ❙

Seabrook expands pipeline capacity
Seabrook Logistics, a JV between Magellan Midstream Partners and LBC Tank Terminals, is to expand its crude oil and condensate storage and pipeline assets in the Houston Gulf Coast area. The $250m investment includes construc-
tion of a 24-inch diameter bi-directional pipeline between the facility and a new dock at Genoa Junction. Magellan is also building a $70m 24-inch pipeline from its East Houston terminal. ❙

Norwegian testing specialist Norner has increased its capacity for autoclave testing of polymers for applications in the oil&gas sector with the commissioning of a new Test House equipped with autoclaves from 400ml up to 5 litres. The dedicated Test House is
built for ageing of materials in extreme conditions at high pressure and temperature (HTHP) as well as aggressive media, the company said, and will help oil&gas customers develop durable and high performance polymer systems. “We provide testing

standards at high temperature and pressure, functional testing and specially designed test programs. We ensure that the samples are tested in such a way that they simulate the

buys NDT Insight
Global testing and instru- mentation provider Exova Group has acquired Insight NDT Limited (Insight), a non-destructive testing (NDT) and radiographic inspection business based in the UK. Exova said that Insight is
at the forefront of the NDT market in the UK, having provided specialist services to the industrial sector since 1997. The company – which posted revenues of around £2m last year - of- fers high quality, high capacity and fast turna- round radiographic inspection services to manufacturers in the industrials market, as well as providing testing for the nuclear, medical, rail and oil&gas sectors.
“The addition of Insight to
our portfolio is a clear demonstration of our commitment to continuing to diversify our Oil & Gas and Industrials business and to develop our capabilities in new markets,” said Paul Barry, Group Managing Director, Industries at Exova. l Exova recently signed a €10m three-year contract with Saipem to provide a full range of testing services primarily for the company’s Italian opera- tions.
