CULTIVATIONTIPS ADVISIE Spread in the 1st fl ush
There are many ways to encourage spread in the fl ush. It all starts at fi lling and ends with selective picking. This tip highlights CO2
shot during pinheading and further
growth. As well as spreading the pins, it can sometimes delay development. The fi rst moment to apply a CO2
shot is 3.5 to 5 days after cool down. The precise moment
depends on how spontaneous growth is. Giving a second shot can be considered 36 to 48 hours later. If this shot is given too late, or for too long, then it will be diffi cult to encourage the fi nal pins. The duration of a CO2 6 and 8 hours.

If you have been experiencing a recurrent pattern of beds with a surfeit of mushrooms during the last weeks of the cycle, we recommend you also deactivate the cooling and heating. You will maximize the eff ect of the CO2 fan is also switched off (no circulation). Experience will show if a CO2 situation and the best way to go about it.
