KNIGHTSBRIDGE TO SUPPLY BESPOKE FURNITURE FOR NHS’ PROCURE21+
FRAMEWORK Specialist furniture manufacturer, Knightsbridge, has been selected as a furniture supplier for the ProCure21+ National Framework repeatable bedroom project, which is used by the NHS to reduce the cost of construction through standardisation whilst maintaining a consistent quality.
The framework, known as ProCure21+ National Framework, is an agreement between six Principal Supply Chain Partners (PSCPs), along with their supply chains. ProCure21+ has been compiled by the Official Journal of the

Canford had been using on premise servers and software. Integration between the various care homes was difficult and increasingly so as new locations came on board. The cost of replacing and maintaining a wide range of on premise servers was expensive and inefficient.
Auxilion recommended a move to the cloud using Microsoft Office 365 for traditional desktop applications and
email. Auxilion also set up Microsoft Azure for secure file and print services. Azure is Microsoft’s cloud based platform and infrastructure for building, deploying and managing applications and services.
As part of the implementation, Auxilion has upgraded Canford’s laptops so as to be able to run email and Office 365 for business. Senior staff who are on the road are using Microsoft’s Surface Pro tablets and can securely access central files from home or anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Auxilion is also working with Canford to upgrade secure wi-fi connections across all the homes for residents, guests and staff.
The new infrastructure has been carefully integrated with Canford’s specialist care home software application which incorporates care planning and scheduling and minimises administrative tasks to allow staff to focus on residents.
