VICTORIA PLC ACQUIRES INTERFLOOR GROUP LTD
MILLIKEN EXPANDS GLOBAL REACH WITH ACQUISITION
Ontera Modular Carpets Pty. Ltd has joined the Milliken family of companies. Based in Australia, Ontera is a leader in the design and manufacture of commercial modular carpet, providing Milliken branded products as part of its offering.
This acquisition is the latest initiative in Milliken’s focus on global growth within the floor covering division, as the company formally enters a new region noted for great market potential. Through it, Milliken will increase its worldwide reach and customer service capabilities.

Founded in 1985, Ontera is headquartered and has operations in Northmead, Sydney. The company has licensed Milliken technology for three decades, offering a curated range of
superior commercial modular carpets throughout Australia and New Zealand. With a pioneering spirit, Ontera floor covering solutions are designed and manufactured with quality, aesthetic and sustainability at the forefront of product development.

UK-based Victoria PLC has announced the acquisition of Interfloor Group Limited, manufacturer of carpet underlay and related accessories, for a total value of £65m. Interfloor will join other leading flooring businesses in the Group such as Victoria Carpets, Westex Carpets and Abingdon Flooring.
Geoff Wilding, Chairman of Victoria PLC commented: “We believe that Interfloor, as the market-leader, will be an excellent addition to the Group, bringing the complementary established underlay brands of Tredaire and Duralay in alongside our growing portfolio of well- respected carpet and hard-flooring brands. For the year ended 30 May 2015, Interfloor recorded net sales of £72.29 million and EBITDA of £10.02 million.
