F.Ball’s training courses, conducted at its purpose-built training facility in Cheddleton, are free-of-charge and provide contractors with the most up-to-date information on using the most advanced flooring products available today.
After completing each two-day course, participants are asked to share their thoughts on how the course went, and how it could be improved in the future. Contractors who have taken part in recent training sessions have been unanimous in praising the programme, with almost all participants stating that the course provided useful information that will lead to changes in their approach to flooring installations.
When participants were asked what they most liked about the course, one stated: “The training facilities
are first-class. The staff were very professional and all aspects and topics were presented clearly.”
Another participant commented on the specific things learnt during the two-day course: “[I gained] a better understanding of the products, and the implications when correct practice isn’t followed.”
F. Ball’s training programme is designed to be a valuable tool for all levels of experience, from contractors with decades in the industry, to apprentices and everyone in-between. A wide range of products, floorcoverings and subfloor types are covered, equipping participants with the knowledge they need to complete any installation.
The course involves both class- based learning and practical work. Participants are given the chance to use the products covered in
the course, and F. Ball’s resident specialists give live demonstrations of the consequences of not following best practice.
