leArninG mAnAGement solution Jangro

Jangro’s eLearning modules – the Learning Management Solution (LMS) – were developed to offer instant access to high quality training to a wide audience. The idea was to provide an in-depth training solution that did not eat into a cleaner’s day job, but the concept was not intended to replace accredited courses from respected providers.

The LMS system works remotely so training can be carried out at times to suit the user. Course times vary from 50 to 90 minutes (for the very detailed floorcare module). Users can dip in and out of short sessions to suit them for as little as 15 minutes a day, making learning easy and highly accessible.

All LMS modules come with a range of online Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and technical data sheets, risk assessment and product usage guides, and animated instructions on everyday tasks. Employers and training managers can remotely monitor employees' progress.

The most recent addition to the LMS is the Manual Handling module. As well as explaining and demonstrating recommended techniques, the module also explores how to plan and prepare before any handling activity and identifies different manual handling injuries.

The LMS programme was originally launched in 2012 and now consists of eleven modules, from an introduction to cleaning, to kitchen hygiene, carpet care, washroom hygiene and much more.
