FRIENDS OF ALTEN RECEPTION


On October 5, the Friends of Alten reception was another reminder of how important it is to continue to preserve the memory of Mathias J. Alten and display his art. George and Barbara Gordon were thanked for their immense generosity and leadership. Guests toured the renovated gallery and viewed Alten’s work reorganized by theme. The launch of new coffee table book, Mathias J. Alten, an Evolving Legacy: The George and Barbara Gordon Gallery at Grand Valley State University was announced, as well.
