More new homes

WORK is under way to transform the former Glasgow Tram Depot in the Ibrox area of Glasgow into 20 flats for mid-market rent. The plan is to retain most of the building’s original heritage features and the red sandstone fabric will be fully restored by specialist stonemason subcontractors. The building and roofing

works are under way – and the properties are on course to be ready by March 2017. The development is made up of one, two and three bedroom flats. We’ve also launched 21 brand new flats for full market rent in Hamilton. These two bedroom properties are proving really popular due to their central location in Hamilton Town centre. If you or anyone you know are

interested in these properties, just get in touch.

AS the weather turns colder, it’s important to take steps to keep yourself warm and comfortable throughout the winter months. It also makes good sense to protect your home against the effects of bad weather. We can offer advice to help you prepare for the winter weather –

and what to do if something goes wrong. You can find some advice about what to do if you have burst or frozen pipes or condensation in the winter advice section on www.lowtherhomes.com Burst or frozen pipes and escape of water are some of the most common problems

in winter. If you have anything that needs to be repaired, it’s

best to get them done before the really cold weather hits. You’ll also find more advice on preparing for winter at www. readyscotland.org which has simple steps you can take to protect you and your family.

Keeping your development tidy

OUR environmental team is here to help keep your development clean and tidy, but everyone has a part to play. Here are a few of the most common issues: • Cardboard boxes – Please don’t dump them beside the bins. Break them down and put them in the bin. • Refuse – please make sure you put all bin bags in the bin – please don’t leave them lying beside the bins as this can

attract vermin. • Smoking – if you are a smoker please clear away your cigarette ends. Don’t leave them lying on the ground. • Bin access – please don’t park where it

is likely to block access for the cleansing department. We’ve had a few cases where the bins have not been emptied as a car has been blocking access. • Bulk uplift – your local council can arrange this for you.
